A workshop that produces more than notes
Most workshops end when the call ends.
The Social Impact Global (SIG) Lab is different.
You will move from learning to application, working with a small, multidisciplinary team to investigate a live challenge, test ideas and develop a practical contribution to an active global social-impact campaign.
This is not a passive webinar or a demonstration of AI tools. It is a structured opportunity to:
- Learn a practical social-impact methodology.
- Apply it to a real-world challenge.
- Use AI responsibly and critically.
- Collaborate with people outside your usual sector.
- Develop work with genuine relevance.
- Present your contribution and receive high-level feedback.
- Be considered for recognition for an outstanding contribution to the Petition.

A rare cross-sector experience
The No Peace Without Women SIG Lab creates space for people from different professional worlds to think and work together.
The cohort may include:
- Diplomats and public leaders
- Lawyers and policy professionals
- Advocates and civil-society leaders
- Technologists and AI practitioners
- Strategists and systems thinkers
- Communicators and campaign leaders
- Artists, designers and creative professionals
- Social-impact and sustainability specialists
Participants are selected not only for their expertise, but for the perspective, curiosity and lived experience they can bring to the group.
The cohort is intentionally small. This allows every participant to contribute, every voice to be heard and every team to receive meaningful attention.
We will use collective intelligence
The strongest social-impact campaigns are rarely created by one individual, organisation or discipline.
They are built collectively—through the meeting of professional expertise, cultural perspectives, lived experience, creativity and shared purpose.
AI can make that collective process more powerful.
It can help teams examine complex issues, identify patterns, challenge assumptions, explore alternatives and move more efficiently from information to insight.
But AI cannot replace lived experience, human judgement, ethical responsibility or critical thinking.
Used responsibly, it can strengthen them.
The SIG Lab brings these capabilities together:
Human intelligence. Diverse perspectives. Responsible AI. Practical action.
What you will gain
A practical framework
Learn Valerie Won Lee’s Social–Impact–Global Framework—a methodology for approaching social-impact challenges strategically, collectively and globally.

Stronger critical thinking
Practise questioning assumptions, evaluating AI-generated conclusions and considering issues from multiple perspectives before acting.
Real-world experience
Apply your learning to a live social-impact campaign rather than working only with hypothetical exercises.
Cross-sector collaboration
Work with people from diplomacy, technology, advocacy and the arts—professionals you may never otherwise have the opportunity to meet.

The programme
01 — Masterclass and Innovation Sprint
22 August 2026
2:00 PM Central Europe
90 minutes online
Valerie Won Lee will introduce the Social–Impact–Global Framework and demonstrate how it can be combined with AI-augmented collective intelligence.
You will explore how to:
- Frame complex social-impact challenges more effectively.
- Understand systems, stakeholders and competing perspectives.
- Bring professional knowledge and lived experience into the process.
- Use AI to support research, analysis and creative exploration.
- Recognise bias, weak assumptions and unreliable conclusions.
- Maintain ethical judgement and meaningful human oversight.
- Move from discussion towards practical action.
Participants will then form small, cross-sector teams for a facilitated innovation sprint.
Each team will examine a real-world challenge connected to the No Peace Without Women Global Petition and begin shaping a practical response.
02 — Flexible Two-Week Action Challenge
Over the following two weeks, your team will put the framework into practice.
This part of the programme is designed to be flexible and manageable alongside professional commitments. Each team will decide how to organise its time, divide responsibilities and move its contribution forward.
Every group will receive a dedicated WhatsApp space for exchanging research, discussing ideas and collaborating across locations and time zones.
Teams may use the challenge to:
- Investigate and define a selected issue.
- Identify relevant stakeholders.
- Gather perspectives and evidence.
- Challenge assumptions.
- Explore alternative approaches.
- Use AI for research, synthesis and ideation.
- Evaluate sources and AI-generated outputs critically.
- Develop a proposal, prototype, campaign concept or practical intervention.
- Document their decisions, process and learning.
The objective is not simply to produce an idea. It is to practise a rigorous, collaborative process that can be transferred to future professional and social-impact work.
03 — Final Review, Reflection and Recognition
5 September 2026
2:00 PM Central Europe
60 minutes online
Each team will present its contribution, explain the thinking behind its decisions and reflect on what it learned.
The final session is an opportunity to:
- Present your team’s work.
- Receive constructive, high-level feedback.
- Consider its relevance and potential impact.
- Reflect on how AI supported or challenged the process.
- Identify lessons that can be transferred to future work.
- Recognise meaningful collaboration and achievement.
- Be considered for recognition by the No Peace Without Women Global Campaign for an outstanding contribution to the campaign.
